The Greene County Ram girls golf team is coming off a stellar week in which they picked up two wins.
First up the Rams had a tee time at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course against St. Edmond where they came away with a win shooting a team score of 212 against a 235 from St. Edmond. Hallie Monthei nabbed the first place spot followed closely by Taylor Johnston.
Results were: Hallie Monthei, 48, 1st; Taylor Johnston, 49, 2nd; Maya Telleen, 52, 4th; Maggie Mikkelsen, 60, tied for 6th; Alivia Cornell, 70, 10th
The second tee time on the sheet had the Rams heading out to Oak Park Golf and Recreation where they put on a good performance and registered the top spot in a field of five teams, shooting a team score of 226 to beat runner-up Ogden by two strokes.
“Tough conditions on a very difficult course. The girls did a great job and won the tournament,” head coach Heath Telleen said.
Scores were: Taylor Johnston, 51, third; Maya Telleen, 53, fourth; Hallie Monthei, 59, tied for 10th; Skylar Warnke, 63, tied for 18th; Maggie Mikkelsen, 66, tied for 21st; Alivia Cornell, 67, 23rd.
